General Information
What are the fees involved if I want to sign up?
We collect a one-month deposit, which is refundable if a one-month notice is given before withdrawal, and a registration fee of $35.
When do I make payment for my lessons?
Lesson fees are collected before the commencement of the first lesson of that calendar month. If there are 5 lessons for months (i.e., 5 Saturdays), the fees for that month will be tabulated to include the fee for the 5th lesson.
What if my child cannot make it for class?
Students will be offered make-up sessions or a Zoom recording of the missed lesson if a make-up arrangement is not possible. No refunds will be provided.
Are there extra classes during the exams?
We often bring forward some lessons from May and October, and hold them before the exams (end of April and end of September) to have more time for revision. Students can also enjoy a short break afterwards. Parents pay the usual monthly fees during this period with no extra charges.
Do you conduct lessons during the school holidays?
Lessons are conducted during school holidays, but there are designated breaks after the mid-year exams and during the end-of-year festive period.
What happens if my child is travelling?
We will arrange for the lessons to be made up or provide Zoom recordings of the missed lessons.

Class Matters
How many students are there per class?
Our classes are capped at 14 students. This is the max capacity we feel is comfortable enough for class interaction and adequate attention.
What curriculum or teaching approach do you use?
Our curriculum is aligned with the MOE syllabus, but we go beyond rote learning. Lessons focus on problem-solving, critical thinking, and applying concepts in exam contexts. We also emphasise building mindset and confidence. All chapters are taught from scratch to ensure learning is standardised and progressive.
Will my child get homework or practice outside of class?
Yes. Students receive curated worksheets and practice tasks to reinforce what is taught in class. That being said, homework is assigned to meet specific learning objectives for the week and children are not simply stockpiled with practices.
How do you monitor and update parents on progress?
We provide regular feedback through semestral/termly updates, WhatsApp/phone check-ins, and consultations if needed. Parents are welcome to reach out anytime to discuss their child’s learning.
