A graduate of the National University of Singapore with a specialisation in journalism and public relations, Matthew honed his language skills in a top media firm before pursuing his passion for teaching. Marian He is the co-founder of Matt’s Education and a former Ministry of Education (MOE) teacher. She oversees the entire primary school curriculum, bringing a structured, hands-on approach to learning that nurtures both academic performance and personal growth. With her extensive experience in the Singapore education system, she ensures that every lesson is both engaging and effective, helping students build strong foundations and achieve mastery.
About Marian He
Marian He is the co-founder of Matt’s Education and a former Ministry of Education (MOE) teacher, bringing with her a wealth of experience from the Singapore education system. She oversees the entire primary school curriculum at Matt’s Education, shaping programmes that are aligned with the syllabus while preparing students to meet the demands of national examinations with confidence.
Over more than a decade, Marian has worked with children of all learning abilities in both English and Mathematics, helping them build strong foundations and overcome their academic challenges. Parents and students know her for her caring yet no-nonsense approach — striking the right balance between encouragement and discipline to bring out the best in every learner.
At Matt’s Education, Marian leads the development of a structured, progressive curriculum that takes students from basics to mastery. Her pedagogy is hands-on and personal, working closely with each child to address weaknesses, unlock potential, and cultivate resilience.
A graduate of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with a diploma in education from NIE, Marian combines her MOE background with a deep commitment to nurturing children — ensuring that they grow not just in academic performance, but also in confidence and character.
